Here's one story that I found a number of years ago that has always intriqued me, especially since I have McCune ancestors. Not sure that I would want tot claim this particular one though. Read on and you'll see why.

Sometimes, in the course of researching a place, I find odd connections that I would not have considered in the usual course of events - those odd coincidneces that just make you wonder about how connected the world really is. The following is an example of what I mean:

This is the timeof year that oppressive heat makes me yearn for the cooler temperatures of fall, and, of course, that means that the Halloween season is just around the corner. But, of course, haunted happenings don't just happen at Halloween - they occur all the time throughout the year, but folks seem to pay more attention to the idea in late October. Just human nature, I guess. No matter what time theses things happen, though, it still means that it's time for a new look here and the addition of a lot of new stories, which will be added in the coming months.
